Founded in 2017, APMIC (Accelerate Private Machine Intelligence Company) is a pioneer in Taiwan specializing in large language models (LLMs) and enterprise-grade private AI solutions. We focus on natural language understanding (NLU) technologies, helping organizations quickly build their own intelligent knowledge systems - without writing code - enabling smart data utilization and secure private deployment.
Our Story
Where It All Began
The journey of APMIC began in 2017, when Jerry Wu, founder and CEO of the company and a lecturer in the Department of Information Management at NTUST, invited several tech-savvy students in his class to start a business together. Driven by the same passion for natural language understanding (NLU), the team conducted market research and collected participant feedback, which prompted a pivot toward their mission of enabling AI to effectively interpret human language. Since then, the team has developed its own large language model (LLM).
APMIC has since emerged as a frontrunner in the field of AI, committed to driving technological progress, exploring innovative possibilities, and redefining traditional frameworks.

When introducing AI into the enterprise, organizations commonly face three major challenges: data security concerns, high technical barriers, and the inability of traditional chatbot systems to handle complex information. APMIC deeply understands these pain points and offers targeted, integrated solutions.
First, we provide full private deployment of both models and data, enabling enterprises to have complete control over their AI environments without worrying about data leakage risks from third-party SaaS platforms. Second, to address the lack of in-house AI talent, APMIC offers a no-code interface along with built-in tools for automated model fine-tuning and deployment, allowing non-technical users to get started quickly and improve internal efficiency. Finally, to overcome the limitations of traditional chatbots in processing multi-layered, unstructured information, our system integrates various enterprise data sources - including internal networks, PDFs, Word documents, knowledge bases, and APIs - building a truly intelligent assistant that understands your business.
